Community Service Hours
Community Service Hours are collected twice yearly - January and May. Students can turn in their hours any time during those months before school, after school or on the lunch hour in the Guidance Office.
In The Mind's Eye 2009: Issues of Substance Use in Film + Forum
Free film and forum events every week throughout October and November
In The Mind’s Eye 2009 offers a rare and real glimpse into the world of drug use through films, workshops and keynote presentations. Recently nominated for a national award, In the Mind’s Eye provides an exceptional opportunity to discover rarely seen films from around the world, hear local and international experts, and meet people who have been or are dependent on drugs.
Unique worldwide, In The Mind’s Eye is held free of charge at locations throughout Waterloo region in October and November. Catch it while you can!

KCI's Breakfast Program
KCI BREAKFAST PROGRAM STARTS SEPTEMBER 14th.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it's offered free of charge to KCI students Monday through Friday from 7:30- 8:15 a.m. in the KCI Eatery (Room 173). Hope to see you there!
KCI Lunch Program
KCI LUNCH PROGRAM - STARTS SEPTEMBER 21st.
Thanks to Nutrition For Learning, donations from students and staff, and the expertise and time of Ms. Collins Hospitality and MSIP classes, KCI will continue to provide healthy lunches to our student population..
KCI offers a lunch program to students in need. Whether you require a lunch on a regular basis or have just forgotten one for the day, we will make sure you have something to eat. Students interested in accessing the lunch program are to see one of the following:
KCI Principal or Vice Principals
Guidance Counsellor
Ms. Miller - Special Education
Ms. Collins - Hospitality
All lunches will be served out of Room 153. Students participating in the program will be asked to assist in kitchen cleanup.
KCI's lunch program is just another example of how we are Learning, Caring and Connecting at KCI.
